1tspcajun seasoning or garam masala or ¼ tsp all-spice

8 to 10mint leavesor handful of coriander leaves fine chopped
How to make the recipe
Mix chicken with the rest of the ingredients mentioned under marinade. Cover and rest for at least one hour to overnight in the refrigerator.
Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger garlic for a minute. Add onions, chilies, sugar and salt. Saute until the onions turn transparent, for 4 to 5 mins.
Add marinated chicken and saute for 2 mins. Stir in the spice blend and pour the soya sauce. Saute on a medium heat until the chicken is cooked through, for another 3 mins.
Taste test to adjust salt, sauce or spices. Add mint leaves and saute for another 1 min until they wilt and turn aromatic.
Serve lemon chicken with onion wedges alongside fried rice or noodles.
